This week I received the advance copies of my first book. Women in My Rose Garden is scheduled for release in February next year and heralds the start (I hope) of a new writing career. It tells the stories of over 30 historical women who have had classic roses named after them, along with the story of the rose and the breeder. It looks fabulous and Palazzo Editions in Bath have done a beautiful job in designing the book.

I have been working on another book also scheduled for release next year about missionary wives and their roses. Look for that later in the year.

My January work will be putting another book already written - The Roses of Myths Legends and Literature - into order for the designer to get to work.

2011 has been a great year for me and I hope 2012 will continue to be great as well.
