It is now over a month since Liam was able to come home after his stem cell transplant. The relief and joy of that was palpable amongst us all. Day by day he gets stronger and day by day the risk of rejection lessons. We are all looking forward to our Christmas together.

Meanwhile I am getting back to work. The world Rose Convention is being held in Palmerston North New Zealand this coming weeken and I am one of the speakers. there will be two days of rose show where I will try and sell some books as Christmas presents followed by two days of lectures. There are close to 200 people atteding the lectures from all over the world.

And the garden is looking spectacular here in Otaki but there will be no time to enjoy the sun for a few days yet!
