Seems to me to be a very sensible approach. I fail to understand the complaints of those people who have investment property available for rental, that rents will rise because of CGT. As the tax only applies when the property is sold and that the property therefore incurs no further costs until it is sold, how come rents will rise. Says more about opportunism of landlords than rational argument
