It has been a while since I have written anything on my web site. 10 days ago my grandson had a stem cell transplant for Leukaemia which was diagnosed back in march. Since then we have been living day by day as he undergoes treatment. Chemotherapy has kept him alive until a match was found from an unknown donor. I thank the kindness of strangers.

meanwhile elections are happening here in NZ and at the candidates meeting for the district health board a candidate said that chemotherapy dosen't work! Imagine my anger at this false statement! And the fact that someone with loopy and ignorant ideas could get elected.
