Mangaone Stream

warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'Pacific/Auckland' for 'NZDT/13.0/DST' instead in /home/annchap/public_html/sites/all/themes/zeropoint/page.tpl.php on line 184.

Great article in November's Otaki Mail (also on line) about the highly polluted Mangaone stream in Te Horo near Otaki. Dirty dairying is the cause and careless guardianship by the Greater Wellington Regional Council has  added to it's woes.
