Well it certainly has been a long time since I have posted anything here and such a lot has happened.

News about Liam.

Liam is now back at school learning to be a teenager again. he is well, training for a duathalon with two sets of DNA and a new blood group!Here is a Christmas photo of the family - best Christmas present ever. christmas family

Selling our home

The beautiful historic house in which we lived and have written about here sold in January - 2 weeks after we decided to put it on the market. We have moved out into temperoary accomadation while we build a new eco friendly, energy efficient house where we can be warm. Lovely as it is to live in a historic home with its drafty doors and windows and high ceilings it was way too cold for us as we get older. Osneloc House

 

The Otaki Mail

We have now put out three editions and, tense as it was at the time, all seems to be going well. Lloyd does the layout and I do the books. learning an accounting package is not something I expected to do in my 60s but at least it will keep the brain going. otaki mail

 

The New Zealand Gardener

In its latest edition it made nice mention of my book 'Women in my Rose Garden'. The book is being reprinted and will be available in US this time. NZ Gardener article
