I woke this morning to hear that the south bound lanes of the state highway to Wellington have been closed putting more pressure on our commuters. Whether travelling by car or by train it has been a bad couple of weeks.

Because the highway is so under pressure in peak travel time, the need for a fast reliable, frequent and safe train service is imperative. I haven't yet heard whether the train service is also failing today so I hope those people forewarned of the road blockage will be able to take the train. And that it will be smooth running with no holdups. So enjoyable in fact that they want to continue using that service!
